Fresh Start

Tell me how to love and what I should believe

Gave you that power because I was naive

Loved my passions and all that I could be

Just so you could see the vulernable side of me

You tore me down, left with no identity

Being me wasn’t who you loved it was just your remedy

To fix your heart you stepped on mine

Love made me blind not to see the signs

But now I’m free

Eyes wide open I see what love can achieve

Fresh start

To an untouched heart

Small and warm she needs me

Her helpless plea

I’m here

Love me
