For Freshman Me
I swear Freshman year was just last year, but it's been 3 years since then.
There's so much I wish I could tell myself about the next 3 years:
Slow down, it goes by so fast
That boy you thought you "loved" doesn't love you back and that's okay
The one that loves you will come so unexpected but right when you need him
Focus on school more, it's more important than you think
So many great things come after the heartbreak!!
Have more fun!! You're gonna miss these carefree days
Appreciate all the friends you make because the "best friends" you have now aren't gonna be the same senior year
Grades aren't the most important thing, but it's important to keep 'em up
Applying for colleges are stressful, but it'll feel so good when you're accepted!
Phyiscs is actually a cool class, pay attention
Biology becomes relevant in other classes, remember what you're taught
Study hard, the classes get harder and so do the tests
You're not gonna be the same outgoing you when senior year comes around
But you're gonna make so many memories you wish you could relive again.
You're gonna miss the little moments with your friends
Like the late nights laughing at nothing,
Dodgeball tournaments for the hell of it,
Chillin' after practice jammin' out to music,
After school conversations that turn into roast sessions,
Movie nights, sleepovers, and making breakfast at 11 AM.
So learn to love every moment of every day because senior year will come, and you'll wish it was freshman year again.
