Freshman Year

Packing up all my things

heading out to what the future brings.

No more Mom and no more Dad,

the independence I never had.

Craming, studying, and learning,

to earn the job I've been yearning.

New friends and hard work too,

persaverance will get me through.

Setting goals for me to achieve,

to go above and beyond before I leave.

Lake Erie College here I come,

three more years until I'm done!
