Fretboards

Fretboards.

Just slabs of refined wood,

With metal beams laid in meticulously measured increments.

With six wires, an almost infinite amount of creation is possible,

A form of expression beyond words.

A versatile master of emotions, able to console and comfort at any moment,

Helping me revisit the familiar, explore the undiscovered, and generate the new.
