Friday the 13th

I have a story to tell that comes straight from the heart
It’s of a boy whose life began to start
When a girl made his life complete
She made his heart to replete

So explain to me please why this day is so cursed
What makes it so bad to be the worst?

It went something like this

He walked and walked with someone so great
With a question at hand that had to wait
A couple is all he wanted to be
To make her smile and burst with glee

They made fire as time flew by
Watching the smoke, as it rose to the sky

As it was time to leave he asked what was planned
Constantly fearing, the worst he expected
That he has wasted his time only to be rejected

As they continued to sit and chat
She finally gave him the answer “Yes I’d like that”

You should’ve seen the expression on his face
As they met the next day in the hall
She stood and smiled in place saying
“Friday the 13ths aren’t so bad after all”

A cute story of a boy and girl indeed
How friends became more for all to see
I bet you would have never thought that
This story is all about me
