Friday 7:42 PM

A thunder storm appears to have erupted from the stillness

I’ve been working since one

Before that I spent an hour commuting by bus

It’s less awful than it seems, but that isn’t saying much

They know me hear, and make my drink before I announce it

It’s getting darker by the minute

People are making small talk

The weekend is approaching

Not for me, though, I have tons to do

Alas I shall do it happily

Many would kill for the opportunities I take for granted

My tea is especially watered down now

Gina says “Don’t Get Wet" and hastens my departure

Alright I’ll Go

Hopefully by the time I get home, dinner plans will be solidified

It’s just another day
