Friday Night Lights

Friday Night Lights

By: Michael Tack

Playing football is like nonother,

Pads pop like two rams butting heads,

Crowds yell as loud as thunder rumbling,

Teams stick together like glue,

The atmosphere in the stadium is like nonother,

Coaches yell at players like parents to children,

Whistles screech loud like a siren,

Players trash talk back and forth,

Mammoth sized lineman protect their quarterback,

Corners snag balls out of the air like a gull grabbing a fish out of water,

The winners cheer as the losers jeer.
