Friday Night Lights
I love to see the Friday night lights on.
The stands begin to fill up with community fans.
Too soon these beloved nights will be gone.
The players line up and link at the hands.
The field is set; the crowd begins to roar.
In Bowie we are ready for kick-off.
Zooming down the field, look how they soar.
So determined to make it to play-offs.
The score gets close but Rabbits take the lead!
Touchdown Bowie!!! The pom-poms shake and shine.
Game over, the win is just what we need.
Cheerleaders get ready in a straight line.
School song plays; a small tear begins to fall.
Last home game for seniors. We love football!!
