Friday prayers
On every Friday, I see people rushing to the mosque
To make their God happy, they give it their all
Someone told me that God commanded him to pray five times a day
But I'm confused why he only rushes to join the last five minutes of Friday's prayer
I asked a person why he only rushes on Fridays to give God just a few minutes,
When God asks for five prayers every day
He replied, "My God demands it from me,"
But I wondered, why does this Almighty God, who created the whole universe, need just a few minutes of his creature?
I talked to another person, hoping to understand my confusion
But their answer plunged me into the depths of the Mariana trench
They said, "Our God says don't suppress the rights of the weak,
But we do it anyway, just in a more subtle way."
"Our God says educate our girls,
But we don't because of our traditions and prestige."
"Our God says don't kill another human being,
But we do it anyway because of our useless rivalries."
"Our God says don't follow the devil,
But we consider the devil as our friend."
"Our God says never plunder the resources of the weak,
But we do it every day to fulfill our endless desires."
"Our God says never sell things at an exaggerated price,
But our markets are full of fake items and inflated prices."
"Our God says, 'I will protect you',
But we protect God and his friends by killing innocent humans on the basis of blasphemy."
In the end, I realized that they don't really know their God,
They just use the word God to cover up their wrongdoings.
