A Friend

Going through years, in everlasting isolation.

No soul to confide in, constantly consumed by loneliness.

Escaping this trend seemed as an impossible option,

and I became deprived of hapiness.

Until a fateful day I met you,

finally a person that I deemed as a friend.

No longer I was forever blue,

my numb heart was amended.

From being in a lonely state,

I learned an unspoken truth.

No matter if they do not seem always great,

nobody deserves to be alone as a fate.
