A friend is someone you can always go to.
A friend will be there even if they have no idea what you are talking about they are just there.

A friend is someone you call a sister or a brother but isn't a relative. 
A friend is someone you can call at anytime of the day and answer or you will leave a 2 hour voicemail and have no idea you did it.
A friend is willing to be your friend no matter who you are but willing to help guide you in times of trouble.

A friend isn't always exactly like you most of the time you are polar opposites but you still have fun.
A friend will tell you its gonna be okay even if it might not be.
