Friend
I am in need of a friend for I cannot guide my way through this road of what the elders call a rollercoaster.
I hit the books, pens and pensils and write equations on walls as if I was Sam Witwicky from the Transformers.
I don't score that 100 like I'd wish to, to every test that I score over.
I get that... 70...80... and sometimes 90 but I know that the score can get better!
In my head I want to go over and ask the professor," What can I do to score higher?"
He says, "You are already doing well in my class, you are one of the best ever."
"But its not 100% on this scoreboard you call my mid terms paper."
"I'm sorry, I do not know what to say but to read your books and study a bit harder."
"I know that already and I already am! But what help can I get to score perfect score?"
He looks deep into my eyes and wonders if I am mad for complaining at the average grade that I have, do I look or do I ignore?
"Son, come in class 20 minutes after class everyday and I can give you personal help right before my office hours."
The semester ends and in this boring class I once called horror, became my one chance of scoring higher on my GPA.
And for that I cannot complain but pay more attention that to that 100% A grade that I had earned after those few minute sessions with the professor.
I need a friend that can guide my way this life the elders call a roller coaster.
That friend I tell you... Is my professor.
