As a Friend

As a Friend I am one to help them mend I help them out when they need me I show them a better outlook from which to see As a Friend I am there to assist them with things they tend With a friend I’d walk more than a mile I do what I can to make them smile As a Friend I will be there till the end We’ll be singing, screaming, skipping, hugging I help them with whatever it is at their heart tugging As a friend Anything they need I’m more than willing to lend For I want to be the friend on which all depend
