Hello Stranger!

I know you don't know me,

And probably don't care.

But I'm amazed at all you can be, 

And the courage it took to share.

I can't imagine what you go through,

When each morning brings with it sunshine anew.

I can't imagine what you see,

A bright new light or a whole new fight.

I can't imagine how much it hurts;

To hold within you,

Everything that you do not show;

The unsaid often burning hot,

A fiery soul caged in an icy heart.

Shadows of love unseen,

Of moments that could have been.

But let me tell you this ...

None of this is your fault,

And yes, you do not deserve what you have got.

But hold on.

You will get through this.

You will make it through.

Just know that you are important,

Loved and wanted.

You are not a mere invisible shadow,

A sheer reflection to pass through.

You are much more than you can see,

I'm waiting to see all that you can be.

You are no longer without a friend
