A Friend

What on this green Earth,

Is more comforting, than a friend's mirth,

On an island in the ocean,

All you you have when you are alone,

Is the harsh silence, the depressing judgement,

But with a friend, one can overcome,

the greatest emotion that vexes humanity,

the inescapable insanity, of being alone.
