A friend is...

Opening your mouth without a safety net

hearing your voice with no regret.

A thing I live with is this bet

that you are here to hear me fret.

A friend to the end will have me set.

Someone to confide with your deep inner thoughts.

Someone that cares for you and brought

the meaning of friend to life...

with no intention of being your wife.

A friend is a pal who will tell you the truth

even if it is a little bit rude.

I can't live without a friend

because of the lend

of knowledge that they send.

Some people might say there's an end.

Others might say that it's pretend,

but regardless of this though…

a friend is someone who will never let go.
