The Friend I Lost

Me and You were friends I was drinking water at the fountain when you came and splashed water in my eyes I screamed and you smiled I was fighting with you and cut my finger by a false move You grabbed it and laughed, making my anger go away I met you first and we became friends first We would spend hours walking and we got close You put your head on my shoulder and I knew I would never move it away You started my day when you came to pick me up and we walked off I lost all of this I screwed up and I cannot take it anymore Losing you made every bit of me steer off and it broke something Losing you broke something inside of me and caused something dangerous Now you do not tell me all your secrets but you tell them You do not spend all your time with me anymore, you spend it with them The ones who did not like you, who judged you before they knew you I was there for you when no one else was Now everyone is there for you when I am not I mistreated you and I am sorry But I cannot stand the fact they get to have you and I cannot I cannot stand the fact that you put your head on their shoulder and not mine We both moved on, but I know I'm not over it yet I'm jealous of the fact that I'm not in your life anymore when you're still in mine. I tried to start over, said sorry, and spilled every last tear I could But it's too late I've been replaced You have gone your way and I have gone mine Now when I see you walk out with them I scream And you're smiling Not with me, not for me, But to them
