A Friend like Malik.

A friend like Malik is one you would never expect

One you would not find on the street

One you would not find your school

Not one through family friends

Not one of your prior friends would know

Nothing you could see with a naked eye.

But Malik should be special to them

A friend like Malik is one someone would never except

He is someone the average person would not understand,

and may never understand.

But Malik should be special to his classmates

A friend like Malik is one that is also your cousin

He is someone that can make a family especially proud

and gives our family high hopes for him

So Malik is special to my family

A friend like Malik is one that makes you excited to see him

and he's excited to see me

which is something most would say isn't a big accomplishment to feel emotions

But when I explain to you, you will understand

So Malik is special to me

A friend like Malik is one that conquers whatever he wanted

He proved that a boy with autism is not an illness that must be damned

It's something that should be used to your advantage in life

Malik is someone you can't say 'you can't do that'

He can tell you your what day of the week your birthday will on

this year, the next year, so on and so forth

He sold over $300 in tickets for homecoming

He became homecoming king

He walked with his class during graduation

He applied for a job, drives a car, and many other things people like him could only dream

And he dreamed just hard enough

Malik is special to the world
