The Friend not taken

There was a boy who felt alone

Who had no friend to sit with him

And he had feelings he did not show

And tossed those feelings in the bin

And always felt so paper thin

But never stopped to think why did I tho

He walked home all by himself

And never talked to anyone else

And one day he saw a girl

But did not talk because he thought he'd hurl

And at school he was always picked last

and he wishes he could go back to the past

When times felt dark and was at the end of the rope

He made it through the dark and found ho

He made something he only made when he would pretend

And for once he finally made a friend
