A Friend of The Past
A Friend of The Past
Once first
Now last
A kind you were
Ridiculous but settled
You par in light and dark
Never sad
But always glad
Crazed as always
More now than ever
Beautiful in all ways
Given those long days
Live with freedom
Standing in aw
Take advantage of those
Who know not a mind of their own
Forgive and forget
A motto I regret
For the past in my future
You were always there
Nothing now
But a mere echo
Great in sound
Even when bound
By my mind
A Friend of the past, is all you are now
