Friendly Faces
Flowers in the teapot, birdhouse blues hot
Soakin' up the dry rot, the plot by the cot
That's not been forgotten
A chill welcomed by the heat
Familiar rising on my feet
Peculiar questions that the wind meets
that sway away from Main Street
The bark of the Arc
is just a park with a sweet start
But only the Elites heart
is clean enough for the rough and tough to work for
Found on the bottom floor,
or a card for the corner store.
The need to explore sure seems inefficient
Everyone is on a mission,
and you can't go without permission.
And the rant goes without conviction,
just the spout of a loose fiction
written by a politician.
Everybody's got your back,
unless your'e on the wrong track.
Cant cut any slack,
cuz life is a tough knack.
The sun shines on an oasis,
but people still cry because they're bending with their back braces.
Here come those friendly faces.
Holding up a false frame,
folding for a false claim.
Slipping off the true chain,
that brought change from the midrange.
But your'e deranged and strange
if your'e questioning the big change.
You push away the love
until you can wear it good,
and I swear it good or greater
than this hate that keeps escalatin'.
Wont you subscribe to a feeling
besides your'e favorite healing tide.
If you reach the ceiling,
dont stay in line
for any time and the sublime
wont find the time to rhyme
your situation and associate a complication.
Just another frustration,
preventing from a revelation.
Wonder why your'e outlawed,
they wanna dull your sharp claws.
Remember take a long pause,
and represent the right flaws.
