A Friendly Façade

If you are the faint of heart, then I advise that you look beyond the lies that hide so cleverly behind an "I love you," from friends, partners, and family alike.

For these often come from a fake who will take away your will to feel. One who ruptures a soul without a care, and one who will make your emotions reel and disappear.

Monsters aren't as scary as they were before. Now they come with baggage, happiness, and support. A grin and good times to mask the shadow behind their lies.

Soon, that façade will fade, but that façade will be the only thing you knew. So you'll look for a savior from the monster that hurt you, but that savior will be one too, and the process starts all over again.

Doomed, the suffering never to end.
