Alone.

Without them I slide

into a crazy state of

insanity

hopelessness

paranoia

Alone

Always looking behind for

a voice

I did not hear

a face

I did not see

A touch

I did not feel

Alone

Without them I become

delusional

ungrounded

manic

Alone

Working towards

a pointless goal

Waiting for

help that won't come

Wanting always

companionship I will never find

Alone

In the company of myself I

would surely lose myself and die

Alone
