Friends?

Never been one to care about friendships, Been told they come and go so why should I care how we end things, Maybe because I don't like to put in the effort, Or maybe I think isolation would be better, Coming from home where many of us don't talk, Sharing Secrets outside of family has always been tough, Secrets who said Secrets needed to be shared? I think that sometimes we need a listening ear, Always been that person where my friends came to vent, But when it came time to speak my mind they didn't give back the support I sent, So what did I learn from friends not being there, I learned to listen to myself instead of seeking a listening ear,
