Friends

You meet and it's awkward and you don't think it will last,

Then all of the sudden spending time with them turns into a blast.

You go to the mall and watch movies,

And share your dance moves you think are "groovy."

One day you wake up and you want to make plans,

But they're busy with other friends.

You slowly realize you've been replaced,

Oh wow, what a slap in the face.

Rumors about you start to go around school,

And you can't help but wonder if your "friend" started them to look cool.

Sometimes you think you're the reason the friendship didn't work,

but then you realize that she was fake and a jerk.
