FRIENDS

#rhyme #truthday "Friends" If I hide what I should show to you, If I cry but couldn't go to you, If I lie just to look dope for you, I'm imitating to fit the lane in Which I'm gaining your admiration; My misfit brain is in training To display some lit up faces, acting, faking—a show for you. As if a game with blades, I trim traits, Get split behaviors so my sick main self won't bore you. I seek and slit the traits they distaste, Then bleed to behave in their prick ways: I'm being drained to rain them elation as sorrow pools— I'm drowning in tears yet I stream a proud beam. My mouth seeks to reach the crowd's needs, Spouting to please—no boundaries... About sleek-ass beats, aroused meats... I milk crisp subjects; so they stick around, Until they grow limp from the topics browsed, Then douse me with streams of doubt's seeds... Then I'm filled with whims to chill with the same "cool" crowd— Instead, I chill my heart and become a cool clown. I've allowed these dummies to clown me. © Masigwa Felix ® Tales of the spitting pen 🖋 🖋
