"Friends"

I am finished with all these stupid games.

The lies, the deception, and the deceit –

All so you can get a title, false claims?

No room left for you? No, please, take my seat.

Left behind, as just a mere stepping stone

Only useful for one second in time

And now to find myself here, all alone

Enclosing all grief into one short rhyme.

Ha! And you ever called yourself my friend?

After all the whispers behind my back?

Don’t bother – there’s nothing left here to mend

It’s the hour to note the traits you lack.

Well. Once betrayed and never so again

I care not if I always live with sin...

So listen hear, and listen well, dear “friend”…

You left me with such a

Pain

Yet you ask still for my help, begging

In blood

To save you from mistakes of your own misgivings

Crying mercy.

I forgo my past, such coveted structure, turn my back and leave you to

Suffer alone.
