The Friends of my Life

Leaves and branches must be best friends.

The leaf that decorates the branches of a tree must be missed during the winter retreats

As the chilly winter air grazes the skin of the branch, it must miss the leaves that cover its body and hides it from the natural elements.

When the spring comes, The leaves must be happy to return to its rightful place

amongst the branches after being gone for so long.

The soil and the roots of a tree seem to be an extension of one another.

One can hardly tell where the tree begins and the soil ends.

The leaf, branch, and soil are all interconnected

and help to sustain life.
