FRIENDS NO MORE
we can'tanymore
i broke it
the code , the rule
it is unacceptable ,
how dare i ,started as a joke maybe no more
no more hugs, no more jokes , no more love
but i am doing this to protect her
protect her image ,protect her livelihood
protect her from me , from the monster inside me
thought it would be easy
hurts to say goodbye
but because i feel this way
we are friends no more

Your Poem's Voice
Deeply personal rupture; some universality in guilt/self-sacrifice but grounded in specific relationship.
Dense clusters of linked ideas: transgression, shame, protection, self-isolation, sacrifice compressed tightly.
Overwhelmingly negative: guilt, shame, self-condemnation, forced isolation, loss of connection.
Fragmented syntax, staccato declarations, internal urgency; turbulent emotional intensity despite restraint.
Approximately 10-12 distinct thought units across broken lines; fits 7-15 range.
Personification of 'monster inside'; mostly declarative; some metaphorical weight but largely direct.
Pure internal lyric voice; confessional, introspective; no narrative arc or dramatic persona.
