Friends or Foes?

The cricket chirping The birds singing far into the cloudless blue sky The cool breeze through the trees The whistling of the owl disrupt the peace of the night In the mind of a gentle but troubled mind Who couldn't find any rest of the night But the thought of the night Ran through her mind and drained her to a drip of blood The pains of the soul Given by the numerous foes she sees as friends Who tarnish her image and make her useless Backbiting was their delicious breakfast about her Remembering the bad days of the foe friends Makes her soul shattered and crumbled Remembering the hypocrisy and backbiting Makes the tear trickling down her eyes Friends suddenly give up on her She is left with her troubled mind and soul Her shattered and crumbled heart still ask the question Are these friends or foes?
