Friendship

My days are laced with color, laughter, and light.
They're natural drugs, they're happy highs.
Support gracefully descends on my skin like sunlight.
Jokes quickly whip around me like busy birds in flight.
Smiles are carved on my face, only being replaced by ones showing more teeth as time goes by.
And hugs wash over me like a sun shower on a summer's day.
Friends:
The irreplaceable gifts,
The intimate humans,
The daily comedians,
The lifelong doctors, and
The gifts from God.
