Friendship

Childhood is fun is laughter is joy

Is running through a carefree world

And hanging onto a brand new toy

Chatting with girls and playing with boys

When I was a kid I wasn’t aware

Growing up isn’t all fun and games

There’s more to it than eating eclairs

And never getting in trouble for swears

With growing up comes obligations, emotions

Relationships strife with responsibility

Tumultuous as ships on the ocean

Kept afloat only by love and devotion

Relying on not just myself but others too

To get through the hard parts of each year

Is the only way I ever could've gotten through

And been somehow able to become a Wahoo
