Friendship
Friendships die, new ones take it’s place,
It seems like life is only a race,
But when you finally reach the end,
You always wonder about that one friend,
The one who showed up from out of nowhere,
The one who gave you tender, love, and care,
The one who you cried to and was always there,
The one who you thought you two were the perfect pair,
You wonder where and how they are,
You wonder if they’re close or far,
But what you didn’t do is realize what you had,
Was the one person who stuck with you good or bad,
We all rush to the finish line,
Thinking that everything will be fine.
