Friendship
You ask me what is friendship?
It doesn't have to be when one where you're tied at the hip,
It's the feeling of mutual understanding,
Mixed with constant laughing.
Perhaps there's distance,
That's missing resistance.
Resistance to forgetting
And to being so uncaring.
Friendship means altruism,
And helping others see life through another prism.
Friendship is finding comfort in being yourself,
Because there's nothing better than being accepted by someone else.
