Those lovely terms of endearment

never really take into account

the darker side of friendship.

Like,

the arguments.

The two second fight

for shotgun.

The two minute fight

for who’s house to sleepover.

The two hour fight

over a boy.

The two day fight

over something you didn’t mean to say.

The two week fight

about why you told someone

something you shouldn’t have.

That never really comes in the ad for

“friends”.

When you make a new friend,

you never know what they will do.

I think they should all carry signs like

“I will hurt you” or maybe

“I will make you hate me” or

something of the like

so that we can be prepared

when disaster strikes.
