A friendship worth far more!
Friends are often like family
They are supportive and
Give a shoulder to cry on in times of loss.
They cheer you on and
Watch you race in the pouring rain.
Friends value laughter shared over pancakes and pizza
They make memories that will bring smiles for a lifetime.
Friends are also encouraging
Through trails and decisions of life
Through that agony of procrastination
And through your walk with God.
Most importantly, a true friend is honest
Honesty is key to a successful friendship.
Lies only bring turmoil
Yet, unconditional forgiveness strengthens the bond.
Friends are there to listen
When you feel no one else is there,
In a moment of doubt the whispers of "I am here"
Is the love they have for you.
Because I love you really means
I love you because God loved me first.
