Frigid Cage

Warmth is a commodity that I have ever so searched for, for a fire to revive my cold frozen soul, to fill the hole made so long ago, relieve the unending pain, to heal the ever profound wound, that stands out as mortal and detrimental as the day it was inflicted upon me, a warmth to free me from this frozen cage, bars made out of icicles that reflect morphed and warped pictures of what is put in front of them, presenting me memories of my past but with a morbid twist, ones where one simple mistake leads me to find a terrible fate where all I love is lit aflame to burn to ashes Infront of my helpless face, and it brings me such pain, that I can't even stand to look at the walls of my cage to look for my chance to escape for I fear what twisted nightmare awaits me to befall my gaze upon it so it can present its twisted form of events its morbid play on my insecurities, and their morbid work on all my deep, dark primal fears, so I'm stuck her frozen in such fear that I can't even look up to see what horrors surround me so I sit, to weep my silent sorrowful tears, in this frigid cage that holds me here, tied up with chains of frozen steel, so cold it burns as though it where fire, closed in with locks aplenty but their key are long since left to my memories their shapes are a fuzzy haze their counterparts a mystery, so I'm left here with no escape, forced a terrible fate, cursed to live in pain as I succumb to the numbness that comes with the perpetual exposure to the frigid wind that follows the footsteps of the heartless winterlike weather, for to weather all the rain and hail, to endure the blizzards that follow the winter months, while everyone else gathers close to one another to share warmth with one another I was left to freeze, and shatter I was left to the malevolent hand of the blizzard, the one who locked me in this frigid cage that still manages to burn me as though it made of solid flame, it brings me such pain to wonder how I found myself to be sentenced in this frozen hell, I just wish they’d tell me, just bestow upon me my one measly request of telling me why I deserve this, why should be sentenced to this, to be sentenced to die a slowly painfilled death, what sin have I committed, what affluent person have I so horribly offended to be cursed to endure this life sentenced of be subjected to frigid winds, burning cold and the fear of looking up to behold what terrible creature of nightmare is waiting to be granted my fearful, childish gaze so tell me what have I done, who have I wronged, what unforgivable act has demanded that this be my cursed fate to weather through life not only in a cage with no room to grow, staying the same with no chance to learn, what has caused me to be put in this cage where all I know is unbearable pain, and mercy knows not of my pitiful name so tell me what makes me deserve this horrendously painful fate, what makes me deserved to be locked in this frigid cage, where everything around me instills in me all my primal fears, and inflicts my unbearable pain that leaves me in writhing agony.
