Laying on his lap in gym
He sure did dance better than Tim
Dancing for her in class making her smile
He always went the extra mile
Walking with her from the bus
to meet her parents so just
Braids in his hair
She didn't care
Glasses on his face
Walking a fast pace
Nerves maybe
She couldn't see
He was the frog before turning into a prince
Yet he didn't even wince
Making his sister drive him to see her
He sure did handle her with care
Taking out puppies so that she would go towards him
He knew she'd want to pet them
His mom telling him to make sure he treats her right
"She's a good girl don't fight!"
Long phone calls and roses through the phone
With him she never felt alone
Holding her tight as they both looked out the window
The last time they'd be together though she didn't know
How could she forget her first love
Felt like everyday she was up above
The one man who held her without expecting the one thing every man had expected after him.
All those memories now dim.
