The Frog's Happily Ever After

It's true, I'm a prince.

At least that part of the story is right.

But, when I walk by, people wince.

I guess they don't like me killing at the depths of night.

Of course they can't do anything about it.

I will be king soon for my father is on his death bed.

My mothers the only one throwing a fit.

I think there's something wrong in her head.

I need to get rid of her soon.

That's why I'm heading down to her lair.

She needs to be out by the next noon.

This time I'm not afraid and I'm not fair.

I walk in and was hit with a spell.

"It's up to the prettiest princess," she said.

No princess likes frogs She thought as her arm rose and fell.

"until she kisses you and puts you in her bed."

I fall to the floor as a disgusting frog.

She walks away like nothing's on her mind.

My green legs hop to the water and I sit on a log.

Now it's the prettiest princess I must find.

What she doesnt know know is that we're neighbors.

I see her play ball by herself everyday.

Mall I have to do is charm her with favors,

Until my spell shall work in three days.

Hypnotizing isn't as as hard as they say.

All it takes is a mother teaching you at a young age.

I've been practicing and practicing night and day.

When I get back she will be locked in a cage.

The princess dropped her ball in the water.

I know sadness is what she feels.

It's her favorite one, like losing a daughter.

I guess I'll have to make her a deal.

Ha! This is as easy as pie.

She will do anything for her ball.

I don't even have to try.

I get it, but she quickly goes home with appall.

Theee days later and it's finally done.

I made her kiss me goodnight and sleep by her side.

Telling my lie as I changed, but she wasn't listening so I know I won.

Any rational thoughts inside her head had died.

Once again I got my way.

As we are riding home, my throat fills with laughter.

I will continue killing everyday.

I guess I got my happily ever after.
