The Frost

I feel a pain from deep within

Hits like a train

And it’s heavier than sin

There’s one thing to gain

And nothing to win

But should I refrain

From starting again

If I could lose hope

Then all would be lost

Hang up my rope

But what is the cost

For me to elope

Then hide like the frost
