Frosted Soul
Like a snowflake painting upon frosted window panes.
Getting lost in the perpetual vines;
fractally intertwined,
forming a ghostly layer of melting glass...
Encrypted lines of spiraling codes,
invading this place... --my lonely abode.
As the abominable realization captures me,
i am flung hard against adamantine walls of petty reasoning.
The frail picture cast in the window's phantom reflection isn't even my own!
Instead 'tis the one who fought so hard to escape rejection.
Not even the face; the body; sinews or bones resemble an accurate depiction.
The alien stares back ominously and all i can do is wave... goodbye.
