The Frown

Broken smiles

Fall to the ground

Littered with lips

Fragile like glass

As the emotions sink deeper into their past

Through layers of forgotten guilt

And terrible things they had felt

They reach the point of no return

Where their old faces are lost

And the smiles once taunt

Are turned right side down

To forever stare at the ground

Locked in this new found foe,

The frown.
