Frozen

He is stuck,

frozen and screaming.

She just ran into the bathroom,

with a large jug of water.

They beats down the door,

to find pills on the floor,

and her pleading to let us,

leave her to die.

She becomes unable to speak,

as does he,

trying to call 911.

They arrive,

weeks later, telling us

she's lucky to be alive.
