Frozen Palace

I await here still and quietly,

the room I am in has been,

Forever Frozen, with ice as far at the eye can see,

and of course there are mirrors everywhere.

I sit here in the middle of this cold room,

waiting, watching, hoping one day to be free.

All around me there's ice, never soft snow, but cold, hard, ice.

Its covered the mirrors, all I can see the center and a bit of my now pale face.

But suddenly it starts to snow, and soft, crisp wind blows by me!

excitedly I search for the exit ownly to find the long frozen door has now been opened!

I step outside to see a world full of snow and ice, with the warm wind following behind tempting the

seasons to change.
