Frozen Passion

I have this passion

I have this passion as if it's frozen

It doesn't budge

It's so cold andstill

Never escalates

Never deflates

Slowly I can feel it slipping away

I never really learned how to ice skate

As I fall

My passion begins to simmer

It starts to fade

As december 21st hits

It'll be the first day of winter

I never meant to say this in a cliche fashion

But that is

My frozen passion.
