I can't make you love me,

Because you refuse to see,

That she is what I said she'd be.

Betrayal, bitter on my tongue,

Since the day you said you were done.

Irrational, you called my fears,

But I'm the one outside with frozen tears.

She found a crack,

Now I fear there is no going back.

For she has you now,

and you don't see her claws, how?

They are in your throat,

And my hope is becoming remote.

You can't here her heartless cheers,

I'm outside your door with frozen tears.

You told me we'd have forever,

Now when I ask for your heart, you say never.

I try to embrace you,

But you just walk on through,

Like I don't exist,

Yet, I still can't resist.

For while your cold shoulder is bitter sweet,

Your love is such a treat.

Ignoring all her wicked sneers,

I'm hiding my frozen tears.
