Frustration
Though mentally, I am frustrated
I calmly remember I'm leaving.
I calmly remember my time has been well spent.
Through brain aches, body aches, heart aches all strife,
I rise to the occasion.
My mind is a mess,
My car is a wreck,
My spirit is nothing more than my mind gaining intellect
As I stumble through this last month of the beginning.
But I'm patient.
I'm willing to mind my own even in the disappointment I see.
What friends I've had,
What positions I've avoided,
What wine I've drank,
What cells have I encountered?
What fear have I surpassed?
But what time have I wasted?
No time.
For my path is not set by me, but by my Higher Power.
