Fugue

My fears chase me in circles,

My life takes me for a spin;

My world turns upside down,

And before my eyes, his grin.

He laughs at my pain, he cries for my joy;

He squeezes my heart like it’s a toy;

So I weep and forgive and watch the cycles pass,

Till one day, I turn the hourglass.
