Full Figured "Failure"

Walking down the street,

At the mall,

At the gym,

I see people every where, trying only to be thin.

They starve

Work

Hit

Blame

Not seeing who they are.

Instead they see a body,

Made of bones

Made of fat.

They don't see

The way their eyes light up

Their smile

Hear their laugh.

They don't see there's so much more to them

Than a number on a scale.

They just see that they're "not good enough,"

Because that's what they've been taught to see.

But want to see an end to this.

Tell the media

Tell the magazines

Tell the fashion industry

Tell the world.

I am more than what I look like,

So is everyone else.

And I think that's beautiful.
