"Full Moon Glory"

She gazes at me as if She knows my heart's troubles, Urging me to break The silence of years of dismayed Hopes, She moves slowly towards Me As if a mother kisses her child Upon forehead With the true intent Being Love. She responds to my cries In the dark with her Ever present light Looking into my eyes She sees me Offers her light Thru the night As comfort For the years of tears Trailing me from past hurt. She, a goddess Speaks volumes Even as I stare into Her aura, Reflecting only What is ordained She commands me With greatness To search the depths Without fear Her touch is non-physical But with physics she Goddess defies Every boundary I've set past three. Silent but powerful Exuberance with Night's Grace I no longer have to be Afraid, paralyzed with Trmbling Fear. She acts as if she knows me Shedding light on love spells Wording heart beats That longed to be still She acts as if Heaven sent her directly To me Full She even softens my love. When her time is up She leaves in the hands of One Greater Her Sun. The light of Love By moon lit skies She acts as if She's seen my soul And all the mysteries That unfold In my lines of poetry. Moon lit skies full of Unforsaken Glory Telling me stories Of how great things Shall be thru Esoteric Poetry She knows me Deep like my Ink Well Pulling out of me Sonnet, verse, Pros and Poetry. I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and been writing poetry since the age of 16.Poetry turned the painof my life into a zeal for words to express the pain in my life. I graduated from Benjamin Elijah Mays High School in heart of Atlanta. I received a Bachelor's of Science in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University December of 2001. I've always felt a that a life of service to others is paramount, which led to my career as a Social Services Case Manager with Ga Department of Human Resources in child protection. My poems reflect life, it's highs and lows. My goal is to turn pain into passion through poetry. Its more than a write for me, its a conversation with the Universe
